Queens Park

Queens Park is one of the largest parks  in Bournemouth. It is home to Queen's Park Golf course, a challenging 18 hole, par 71 former PGA tour course which opened in 1905.

The coronation of King Edward VII and his Queen, Alexandra of Denmark was scheduled to take place on 26 June 1902. to mark the occasion, Bournemouth Council agreed on 20 May 1902 to rename common No 59 as Kings Park and common No 60 as "Queen's Park". The coronation was postponed until August when the King suffered an attack of Appendicitis on 25 June.

Queens Park lies approximatly 3 miles north of Bournemouth town centre and is widely recognised as an upmarket borough of Bournemouth, with large detached Edwardian houses on tree lined Avenues. 

Prices range from £500,000 for a small two bedroom bungalow up to and above £1,500,000 for a large detached house on Queens Park Avenue with views over the golf course.
